The iconic 1006 Navy Chair was first built in 1944 for the U.S. Navy designed to be lightweight, fire-resistant, non-corrosive, and incredibly strong for use on ships and submarines. Still handcrafted in Hanover, Pennsylvania from 80% recycled aluminium, it remains a benchmark in durability and sustainable design. Available in Hand brushed or Hand Polished finish. The 1006 is outdoor-approved, has a small carbon footprint, and is guaranteed for life. It includes soft plastic TPU glides for all-purpose use, with optional alternatives available. Also offered in an armchair variation, the 1006 Navy Chair is a timeless classic resilient, refined, and ready for any space.
